Sebaik sedar di hospital, nenek itu menceritakan yg dia bertindak menikam kepalanya sendiri selepas tidak tahan dengan sakit migrain yg teramat sangat.
Namun tindakannya itu tidak membantu menghilangkan rasa sakit kepalanya.
Pembedahan kemudian berjaya mengeluarkan gunting itu.

93-Year-Old Woman Jams Scissors Into Own Head To Stop Migraine
An elderly woman was in so much pain from her migraine that she attempted to relieve it by sticking a pair of scissors into her head.
Qian Tseng’s drastic answer to the pain was said to be a suicide attempt as the pain had become unbearable for the 93-year-old from northeast China’s Lianoning province.
Police said: “She said she fully intended to kill herself.”
Qian survived the shocking act of self-harm and later described the headache as “the mother of all migraines”.
She said: “It felt like a thousand hot pokers drilling down into my skull, burning my brains out.
“I was going mad with the pain. I truly wanted to die and so I tried to bring it about.
“I had no pills or anything. So I picked up a pair of scissors while I could still see – my vision was going in and out – and I just rammed them into my head as hard as I could.
“Unfortunately, it hurt a good deal and didn’t do anything to alleviate the pain of the headache.”
Qian eventually passed out in a pool of blood and was discovered on the floor by shocked relatives.
She was raced to a local hospital where emergency surgery saved her life.
The hospital which treated the woman said: “She was lucky to survive.
“She really jammed the scissors in hard.”
